  Who We Are

xqDoc

Our Mission? xqDoc provides a simple vendor neutral solution for documenting XQuery library and main modules, as well as tools to generate a user friendly presentation of this documentation and cross reference information. Read more about the mission.
Project Status? Today (May 21, 2007), xqDoc announced a compatibility release for MarkLogic 3.2. There were some issues involved with browser compatibility (impacting the presentation) and a glitch with the Javascript pop-up feature used to present the code snippet of a module/function. A new version of the display scripts xqdoc-may2003-scripts-v1_3_1 has been provided for those xqDoc users that are leveraging MarkLogic 3.2. If you are leveraging MarkLogic and have previously downloaded xqdoc-may2003-scripts-v1_3 we would encourage that you upgrade to the most recent version.

What's Next? It should not be a difficult exercise to develop drivers for other XML databases or XQuery processors. If our schedule permits, we will explore creating drivers for other XML databases and XQuery processors or if someone knowledgeable with other XML database products and XQuery processors has time, it would be greatly appreciated if they could contribute to this effort.

The current version of xqDoc is by no means complete. We will continue to add enhancements and new features as we receive feedback from the XQuery development community.

If you want to contribute or have suggestions for improving and enhancing xqDoc, please drop us an email.
